Sol LeWitt
Sol LeWitt, who was a huge inspiration on me in college, has died.

The first essay in Rosalind Krauss' Optical Unconscious (which I sadly just discovered I no longer own) closes with some observations on LeWitt that engaged me so much that I eventually picked up an Art History minor in college.
