The news is trickling out that much of Cho Seung-Hui's imagery for his weirdo multimedia presentation of himself (vlog champion Chuck Olsen notes: don't call it a video blog) was borrowed form the film Old Boy. I actually own this film on DVD and wonder if it's now suddenly eBay-worthy. [Update: Karina has a good post about this.]
A person with clinical depression and mental health problems will always find something to blame, something to justify their acts. It seems like the mass media is doing the same thing.
I wouldn't sell Oldboy, such a great film!!

what is the correlation between the killers video and oldboy? The fact that they are both asian and pointing a gun to their heads? Wow - that nails it. Great journalism.

I wouldn't sell my copy either. I think my wife and I actually saw an advert for OldBoy while we were at one of the City Pages Documentary Festivals and that was what got us to watch it.
