Blogging Innocence

Interesting or fake? Or both? A father suspected of murder is on the run from the law with his son. So what's he do? Of course, he blogs about it.

His "old soul" son did drawings that appeared as crop circles a few days later (and he finds his house torn up and wife gone and immediately leaves town)?

There's no question it's fake.

A member of the 10 Most Wanted who never committed a crime, but suddenly figures out how to steal cars and evade law enforcement, all so he can protect his son who either (a) communicates with the aliens who make the crop circles or (b) commands the mysterious forces that make the crop circles, and then, since he's been scared out of his wits, he decides to go to internet cafes where he'd have to leave an extensive trail of ISP addresses and credit card transactions (all the internet cafes I've been in took plastic), just so he can "clear up his thoughts" about all this?

Yeah, I think it might be fake. It better be a hell of a movie/show.

Pretty obviously fake. Surprised you linked to it.

Here's an interesting observation. Our mysterious blogger, on the run and his only cares in the world are his wife, his son and apparently, his blog stats.

Take a look at the blog's code and you'll find Google Analytics installed:

_uacct = "UA-1918155-1";
urchinTracker();

I love how people really enjoy declaring something fake. It's some sort of mass vindication for putting up with a fake-filled culture.

Fake! Fake! Fake!

Looks like a Heroes knockoff prequel blog to generate some buzz for a soon to be released summer show. Or maybe for Season 2 of Heroes? It could be very likely.

Canadian reference: Interac - the name of the banking debit network. Looks like this takes place in Canada?
