Straight Up
Luna covers Paula Abdul's "Straight Up," and it's really good. The album that it's from includes Will Oldham covering Mariah Carey, Jim O'Rourke doing the Spice Girls, and Superchunk on Destiny's Child.

Will Oldham covering Mariah Carey? Is this another "colorless green ideas sleep furiously" sentence where the sentence is syntactically correct but semantically meaningless?

I'm listening to it right now. It's pretty great. Best song is "Don't Stop Believing," and Mooney Suzuki's "Just Like Jesse James" is strangely good too. And this might be the best Superchunk song of all time.
