My dream movie, the remake of Barbarella, has been shelved because Robert Rodriguez wanted to cast his new girl, Rose McGowan. [via]

and Rose even dyed her hair strawberry blonde...I don't know, is it just me or I can't see her as Barbarella. my vote goes to Sienna Miller.

Actually, Universal didn't back off because of McGowan (or her and Robert's relationship) - they balked at an $80 million budget.
