Is everyone tired of talking about Gawker yet? I am! My fingers hurt from this weekend's IMing sessions. Here's a bunch of other people: Jakob Lodwick, Felix Salmon, Jason Calacanis, Karina Longworth, Peter Kafka, Anil Dash, Rachel Sklar, and Gothamist.
What's interesting to me is that all those people say approximately the same thing. "Death of snark" or some version of that.
I think it's time to be counter-intuitive about this one. I definitely agree with the "new agenda" that Denton laid out in his job posting (I've been saying similar things to anyone who would listen!), but I also suspect there will always be a place for something like Gawker.
