Croc Closes
Whoa, the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle (which I lived a few blocks from, just a couple months ago) has suddenly closed. (The Croc was owned by Peter Buck's ex-wife.) More at, of course, The Stranger.

Let's hope no one goes for the ill-advised bailout in the form of a co-op (comments section).

Wow, that's a bummer. The Crocodile Cafe will always live on in my heart as the place I saw Mudhoney way long ago.
Is the OK Hotel still around? I saw Nirvana there way long ago as well.

OK Hotel is gone too. I remember that place from a long, long time ago too though.
