Kottke started it, but I'll do it too. Cities I visited in 2007:
New York, NY
Seattle, WA
Minneapolis, MN
St. Paul, MN
San Francisco, CA
San Jose, CA
Oakland, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Toronto, Canada
Vancouver, Canada
Portland, OR
Las Vegas, NV
Newark, NJ
Austin, TX
Columbus, OH
Fargo, ND
Bismarck, ND
Napoleon, ND
And a realization: Huh, I didn't leave North America.

One trip, three stops. (For a city to qualify, I needed to eat there and talk to someone I knew -- and airport food doesn't count.)
As there isn't an airport (as most would consider an airport) in Napoleon, ND, I hope the food and the company - in all three ND cities - made the trip worthwhile.
The only cities outside my home (London, UK) were Brussels, Belgium and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This year I'd like to travel a bit more.
Right, well, I'm from Napoleon, ND. My dad manages the "airport" -- which is a landing strip that I've never flown on, but I used to mow the lawn around when I was 15.
That's hysterical. When I saw Napoleon on your list I told my husband - "He's either from Napoleon or related to someone there, because you don't just go to Napoleon for shits and giggles." We say this only because Rocky is from Bismarck and I'm from a Napoleon-like town near Devils Lake. Ahhhh... good times. Good times.
Ahhh - of course. Sorry. Well, from one ND native to another: hope your travels bring you home again soon.
if san jose made your list you can add oakland as well.
so how does a list like this work if you take lots of roadtrips?
Oh yeah! Oakland! Added.
