Idea: a chain of popup stores. (I don't know what it even means, but it seems like everything is now either a chain or a popup store.)
The NYC critics are destroying Funny Games. I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it.
I read about it at Vulture today. that's crazy. I actually can't wait to see it..

Yeah, I think I'm gonna dig it too. Critics, shmitics. They also hated Jason X, and that was a beautiful masterpiece.

did the same critics pitch a fit over the original german version? the new version is shot for shot, so....(cinematical loved it. said it was actually scarier in english, because with subtitles you have to process what you are reading first.)
seriously it can't be worse than the saw movies, or half the horror movies from the early 70's?

Yeah, someone should write about this... there's a strong thread of thinking in mainstream criticism against hyper-violence -- "torture porn" is invoked constantly.
