Bush's War

Immense recommendation: "Bush's War" on Frontline has consumed 4.5 hours of my life the last couple nights, but it's an astounding piece of journalism.

frontline's coverage @ the beginning of the war was "astounding" as well;

I watched parts of this the other night and couldn't pull myself away. I enjoyed all the candid b&w photos that looked like Colin Powell was getting all Samuel L Jackson on Dick and Donald, "Say Geneva Conventions again.." . Forgot all about Bush having a 90% approval rating as well.

I couldn't bring myself to stick with it. It seems like it was pretty much just an almanac of the past seven heart-sickening years. I couldn't go through it all again. A coworker mentioned that it was pretty much preaching to the choir, because red staters don't watch PBS or Frontline. It's nice that it's all collected and stitched together for posterity, though. Hopefully people 50 years from now who weren't around while it was happening can learn lessons from it so they oppose the next motherfucking shitbags that try this.
