Remember when Deputy Enos got his own spinoff from Dukes for a few episodes? Great opening sequence. Jumps a ramp in his squad car and is all "Lordy!"
I was just thinking about Automan the the other day but not remembering what the show was called. Whenever Automan's electricity car would make a turn, it would do an exact 90 degree angle and his hapless copilot normal human guy would get smacked up against the window abruptly. And if there was a brownout, Automan flickered and faded out.
I like how in the A-Team, even if the bad guys flew off a high cliff in their car and it tumbled over and over and exploded, they still got out just holding their heads like, "Oww, headache."
Too few mustaches on network TV these days.
Holy cow, ODB got that sample in I Can't Wait from TJ Hooker! Never made the connection.
Buck Rogers ftw. bedebedebede
Hey Eric. Glad you liked the article.
Not only do I remember "Enos", I remember an early-80s SportsCenter somehow connecting that show's premiere to Enos Cabell (Astros IF) signing a FA contract.
Agreed on the 'stache.
The biggest mystery is who wins...Magnum's 'stache, or Houston's 'stache? I mean obviously Magnum's is '27 Yankees, but c'mon, Houston's has to give it a run for its money.
Dude, Lee Horsely can rock him a motherfucking mustache no doubt, but come on. Nobody touches Magnum. In the mustache world there's pretty much him and then everybody else. Horsely was tough as nails, but still lacked the suave uberconfidence to take out the Mag. Matt's hottie CJ did double duty over at Buck Rogers as the evil Princess Ardala. I still say she was the sexiest evil boss ever.
