I always think it's so neat when I hear the source of a sample that I didn't know was a sample. It's like a special treat. Conversely, however, I don't like it when a song I love turns out to be a remake and I didn't know it. I'm still traumatized from learning that Always Something There To Remind Me was a Bacharach and Warwick song. Nooooo! Naked Eyes is totally better.
