How many people bought that $999.99 "I Am Rich" iPhone app before it was removed? 8!!! See also: Kottke thinks it should not have been nuked from the app store.

I agree with Kottke on this. It's art.
However, what's art to me isn't the actual app but the whole craziness around this thing including the media scrutiny to the people who bought it to the people who loathe the idea it even exists.
I'd actually like to see a museum take this (or some found art artist) and create an installing of sorts with some representation of all this surrounding a single iPhone running the app.
It's just a fascinating look at the times we live in.
