How realistic should video games be? I think there's a point where a level of abstraction is necessary for them to be fun. But then, I'm a guy who misses 2D cartoons.

I dunno. You can still tell, just a little bit, that she fake. Maybe it's because you're told she is but it's still in the valley to me. Amazing none the less.

Well, to be fair, I think it's a 3D face composited on top of video of the 2D face... it's more taking 2D video and turning it into 3D, which is difficult, but still easier than generating a 3D animation that good from scratch..
