Lil Wayne Does Not Go Crazy

When Lil Wayne took the stage to perform "Lollipop" on SNL last weekend, the first thing I noticed was the guitar strapped over his back. I predicted to my live-twittering companion that he's going to Prince crazy at the end. But no -- instead it was possibly the worst guitar solo of all time.

Lil Wayne is awesome. seriously, this is my favorite q&a, ever:

You play a mean electric guitar. Whats your favorite rock band?
Mincemeat, Newark, NJ

Nirvana. I been into them since Teen Spirit. There used to be this video-request station called the Box, and some motherfucker must have loved Nirvana, cause that video was always on. I loved iteveryone was throwing everyone else around, and all the girls looked like they were ready to do whatever. When Kurt Cobain killed himself, I was like, Damn. Other niggas were like, Who?

haaaa haaa..

It was one of my favorite SNL performances in years, even if that guitar solo was weak.

On a side note: Morris Day has not aged a day since the filming of Purple Rain.

Un-fucking-believe-able

Yeah, that was bad. The backup guitarist (aka the "real" guitarist) tries to drown him out, but it just doesn't work. From the way he's using his thumb to hit the strings, it's pretty clear he hasn't spent more than an hour or two practicing lead guitar. That's definitely the mark of a guy who just picked up the guitar.
