I have a Slingbox that I never use (mostly because it's still not available on the iPhone), but this looks interesting enough to maybe plug it back in: Sling.com [beta], which allows one to view and edit video from your DVR through a browser. [via]
The iPhone app has been ready forever (they had a beta for jailbroken 1.x iPhones), but they haven't been approved as a developer by Apple yet. I'm sure this is because AT&T already has a streaming TV service and wants to do their own version of that for the iPhone. Hopefully Sling is eventually approved anyway.
And it may or may not affect you, but regarding the new Sling.com features (they're gonna do clip sharing too), they're all Windows only. Booooo.
