Enya SCOTUS

On the Media has a crazy little story about whether playing Enya as background music to a video montage of a murder victim's life is "unduly prejudicial." The U.S. Supreme Court won't take the case, but the California Supreme Court has issued a judgment that differentiated the music of Enya from that of James Taylor.

When Rex played this, I made fun of Bob Garfield for saying that music was meant to "soothe the savage breast" instead of "soothe the savage beast." But then I googled and found that Garfield is right and I am wrong, although in that case so is Joe Jackson. Either way, he said "breast" on the radio. Hee hee, breast.
