I miss the days when there was a distinction between "friend" and "following".

I do continue to follow some people who don't follow me. Mainly those providing valuable information that interest me.

I agree with Matthew,
I did take a moment to un-follow quite a few whom I thought added ZERO worth to my day and life.
I could care less that you are folding laundry as a real estate agent or that you were taking off early to get much needed rest. Seriously?
In my line of work, if you are sitting at home in front of the TV with no clients to work for, there may be some relevance to your daily activities that you have now just made public....
Second, how are so many people making a living if all they do is tweet all day long?

And what about the guilt, when someone is boring and spammy on Twitter, but too good a friend to just cut loose...
