Doesn't Work For Drunk Texting

New feature on Gmail: Undo Sent Mail.

5 seconds.

Sometimes I get these hilarious messages in my outlook at work like "so=and=so has recalled message XXXX" ... it's pretty goofy. Lifehacker i think has instructions to configure your e-mail to not actually send your e-mail for 10 minutes after you hit 'send'.

But come on. You know when you're writing something stupid. Just leave the window open and look at it in a few. Or if it's really sensitive save it to drafts and send it when you're sober again.

If gmail wants to do this they should make it 6 hours. and optional. or just make a time machine, because this shit is only going to get more complicated, not less.

When are you going to implement this for comments on Fimoc?

I like Gmail's new Undo Sent Mail feature, but I think they should make it a bit longer, like 30 seconds or a minute. And no, people sometime don not know they're typing something stupid until it's too late.

This feature would be nice for the few occasions that I forget to attach my attachment, but it would become useless if it waited much longer than 5 seconds - I don't want my emails lagging for that long.
