For the cognitive psychologists out there: Why Minds Are Not Like Computers. It's long and heady, and it took me at least five subway rides to finish, but it's also insightful for anyone interested in brain/computer stuff.

It's mind boggling that he doesn't mention Von Neuman's The Computer and the Brain. Otherwise it's an interesting article.

My brain aches. You weren't joking about the article length but it was a pretty good read, even the bits where I had to just allow it to leak into my eyes without cogitating ;-)

No mention of how we are all just existing inside a simulation though...
