What struck me most about that moderately interesting think piece was that a man had the courage to offhandedly declare the sex wars over in a major publication.

The courage? Considering their readership, nothing could be safer than declaring the sex wars over in Esquire. Also, he's completely misreading that Lily Allen song: "Not Fair" actually offers a counterpoint to his argument. It's a pro-sex song, it just happens to be anti- *bad* sex.
