Who Does The NYT Follow?

Kinda interesting: Who do the people of the NY Times follow on Twitter? The Times itself doesn't come in until #12. (I come in at #180 -- 14 spots above Shaq! I'm hoping to defy that new power law by barely posting lately.) See also: Who do the people of Twitter follow? [via]

Have I mentioned lately that I'm completely burnt out on Twitter. I only update a few times a week now. You can find me out there advocating Twitter in 2006, but the signal/noise thing finally got to me. And it's basically now a link blog. We don't need anything link blog!

Is there an early adopter trend here? Maybe it's seasonal.

I went from 4 updates a day to a handful a week.

Yeah, you're maybe right about seasonal. I get self-loathing about everything on occasion. And then I usually return to it.

Breaking up is hard to do.

i figured out how to get twitter to automatically update my facebook status, which got me interested in paying attention to my facebook account a little.

So, that was fucked up.

Whenever I get bored with twitter I find that unfollowing a mess of people and following a couple new ones is great. My #1 feature request would be to see a timetable of my follows and unfollows..

It makes me happy I'm higher on the twitter list than the NYT list for some reason.
