Snark Supermarket

I told Robin the other day that I'm jealous of all his ideas lately. There was that Kindle short story collection, preceded by the New Liberal Arts book. Then he ingeniously decided to use Kickstarter to fund a book, and now he's using Google Adwords to name a character. So much smartness so fast!

Seriously. I don't know if I just wasn't paying enough attention before, but it's like a switch went on at Snarkmaket near the beginning of this year and the great ideas have just been flowing non-stop. And it's not just Robin either - Tim has been writing fascinating stuff as well.

(Guilty admission, though: "Penumbra" has been lying on my kitchen table for months now, unread. Shhh...)

1. Nav, I agree re Snarkmarket -- sometimes I almost think of it as an external entity, and can marvel at it (or bemoan it) as such -- and yeah, lots of momentum this year. The Tim/Matt/Robin alchemy is crucial.

2. That's probably a good thing b/c if you read it, they're going to discover you sprawled out on the tiles days later, still mumbling "Prokhorov's Interpretations... it is essential..." The warning label should read: "Do not read if you are pregnant, taking blood-thinning drugs, or Navneet Alang."

(Thx for the nice links, Rex!)
