2009: List of Lists

So yeah, the End of the Year List of Lists is happening again. [Except this year, I have no time to manage it, so please email me if you'd like to either a) manage it for a small stipend, or b) sponsor it.] It's just starting out, but a few things already added: NYT's 100 Notable Books, Amazon's Best Books, Literary Review's Bad Sex in Fiction, S/FJ's Best Songs and Albums, Metacritic's Best Music, and Wired's Pop Culture Moments. Be sure to email me if you have more lists.

Why not include end of the decade lists in this one too, and to motivate people (like yourself) you can tell everybody that after this, the decade of the list is over and you'll never do one again? Make this REX'S LAST LIST OF LISTS.

Good to see this again this year. The blue text of the list is hard to read against the top left graphic. Is that a feature or a bug?

Bug. Should be better now.

As for the decade thing, I always thought decades started in 01 and ended in 10. Am I totally wrong? All these decades list seem to be jumping the gun by about a year.

Dude, make a Google Docs form. Then people can just submit them to a spreadsheet instead of emailing you. Category, etc. could be a drop-down. Efficient!
