Idea: a chain of popup stores. (I don't know what it even means, but it seems like everything is now either a chain or a popup store.)

Hello, World!

Things are about to get a lot better around here.

While I bury my head in work the next month, I have a few guest editors coming on board. First up, my pal Marina is taking over link operations for the next week. Brief bio: Marina learned English by watching American television while bombs dropped around her Serbian home. Beat that, Tumblr! She has been given uncensored reign to create chaos. Welcome!

p.s. While she's here, please try to convince her to move to NYC, where she belongs, at least more than I do.

Why would she want to leave, Rex? NYC is no Gora~de, am I right, Marina? We better get a little "back in my countdree..." flava this week along with all the fashion weak links.

Rex, you better make sure fimoculous.com supports the inverted circumflex before she starts...

Have you been watching Fringe? There's a subplot involving an alternate universe, which is standard JJ Abrams stuff, but there's a bit in there about if material in one dimension crosses over, then something else must cross back.

So what I am trying to say is that I need Marina here so I can leave.

Oh, so you're Rick Jones and Marina is Captain Marvel? She totally has couture Nega-Bands.

I don't think it's ever too late to link to that Guns N Roses-at-Varvatos setlist. What are you waiting for?

No, Marsh. No, no, no.
