Time Redesign
I haven't seen it yet, but Pentagram redesigned Time magazine and it looks pretty sharp. [via]

modernization = usa-today-ification, apparently. unbelievable how much space they give to white space and pretty pictures and how little they give to, you know, NEWS. (check out the page with the McCain pic. "Life" and "Art" get short shrift, too.) But at least JOE KLEIN gets plenty of characters-per-inch.
Reading is hard.
