the matrix should be bumped from the top spot because of the gigantic piles of crap that followed it. the sequels totally ruined the 1st one for me, and i really liked the matrix.
battlestar galactica should be #1. the first episode of season 1 (33) was better than a good chunk of this top 25 list.

Planet of the Apes is missing, but I guess it's OK since this is a 25 yr old list...
